Oh ! What a pain ! Santa had run out of cards again...

So he dashed before it started to rain !

To a million friends he had greetings to send...but because it was Christmas, he had no money to spend....

He knew at the Range, he'd get plenty change....

So he took Rudolph...though he knew it was strange !

He parked his sleigh in the parking lot....

And went to see what cards they'd got....

Walking up and down the aisle,

He viewed the racks and liked their style !

Glittering and shimmering....sparkling and glimmering....he like them all ! Though he did wonder how long it would take to sign them all !

There were Christmas trees and baubles too...some in red and some in blue !

His favourite was the one in gold...a star a manger and three Wise Men of old....

Oh my golly ! What a lot of holly !!!

(he chose that one for his friend Polly !)

A bottle of champagne....some bubbly to send to Spain...Santa even liked the picture of a train !

He set about writing them at top speed.....and quickly used up a pack of pens indeed !

One to Stan and one to Gran...one to the newspaper boy and the milkman !

One to Germany, another to France...

He'd post them on his way to the Christmas dance !

He packed them up in his brown sack,

And headed off down the snowy track....

Being magic of course, the sack made the envelopes fly off course ! One went to the Moon....another arrived in Australia soon !

They were all like meteorites....hung on the washing line with the whites !
