The Christmas Everyone Danced in the Streets of Christmastown

Christmas is snowy and sometimes wet,

You can get cold outside on a sleigh i bet...

No cause for a alarm, you can keep warm,

Dancing in the streets of Christmastown...

Santa and the crew often got down....

Though Mrs Christmas often called them a clown...

When the gifts were all gone,

They switched the music on,

And boogied all around to radio one..

They started in the grotto hall..and danced their way to the garden wall...

(Rudolph trod on 3 flowers i seem to recall !)

By the light of the Moon,

They sang a merry tune....

Santa hoped the party wouldn't be over too soon !

All the way along Yuletide Road,

They waltzed and quick-stepped and musically strode...

Circling the lamp-posts in Santa Street,

The robin tapped his toes to a musical beat...

The Christmas fairy flapped her wings,

Strumming the guitar about Christmas things...

The bell ringers rang and the hymm singers sang...

Out in the darkness, you could hear fireworks BANG !!!

Christmas Pudding avenue was best....a hit song blarted ... as Santa flew in from the West !

They waltzed and congo-ed

They salsa-ed and tango-ed....

Christmas was really turning out to be fandango !!!
