The Bumbling Bumble Bee .... Gets It Wrong Again

The bumbling bumble could get nothing right....

If he should have flown by day - HE flew at night !

He switched things OFF instead of ON....

He got the names wrong of everyone !

Instead of dinner, he called it tea...

He called me you and he called you, me!

Perhaps it was because he was such a busy fellow...

With his dizzy heights and his stripes black and yellow !

He said goodbye when he should have said "hello" !

Although he tried so very hard...

He was a useless lump of lard !

Someone should have given him an award...

So he didn't have to stand so long on guard...

He buzzed all day around the garden...

He never waited for wet paint to harden!

He rested on the painted door...

And left a trail of footprints on the floor!

In Summer when the Sun came out...

He loved to zoom and fly about...

Instead of a whisper - he gave a shout...

"Come on everybody - let's go out !"

Whenever the bumble bee started bumbling...

The dragonflies started their grumbling!

He really did look a sight -

When he turned left instead of right !

Whenever he took off in flight !
