It was Christmas Eve in Liverpool...

Everyone was out shopping and the kids were off school !

Santa took his sleigh - he knew just where to park it...

Off to Saint George's Hall and the German Christmas market...

Santa loved Christmas .... it was a ball -

Choosing gifts was fun, though he hadn't got them all...

He could see the lights on the Mersey flashing...had to stop Rudolph from window - crashing !

First, he bought a sugary doughnut...

Then off to see what Bratwursts they'd got !

He nibbled on a cone of chips ....

Around him, the fairy was doing backwards flips !

A hot chocolate and a glass of mulled wine....everyone was having a fabulous Christmastime...

An embroidered tablecloth for Mrs C indoors...a brush to sweep up pine needles off the grotto floors !

A Christmas tree, bright and gay,

Santa ticked off the things on his list for Christmas day !

Even a turkey and a roast spud or two...

Some peas, some carrots, some sprouts (quite a few !)....

Santa chose a pendant for the Christmas fairy....a million and one things extra - ordinairy !

Up in the sky, the lights glistened bright...the sight of Santa gave everyone a fright ! Christmas eve was turning into a wonderful night !

Santa piled presents up on his sleigh...

Including a holly wreath and a £4 cup to take away...

The Liverpool German Christmas market had everything he needed indeed....(including for the robin red breast some tasty bird seed !)
