Santa's Waitrose Christmas

Every December, there was so much to remember...

Santa wrote his shopping list, sometime in September...

Everyone in the grotto wanted something different, you see...

Mrs Christmas wanted something planted...

And the robin said a Christmas tree...

As every Christmas, a fairy should,

The Christmas fairy said "Bring me a pud !"

Gerome the gnome, wanted something for the home,

A bath set, new comb and some shaving foam !

A box of Christmas cards, wrapping paper, ribbon and bows....

Even some tickets for the Christmasland pantomine shows....

New stocking socks - a box of chocs,

Everyone knew what makes Christmas rocks !!!!

Santa piled up in the supermarket trolley,

A train set, a tennis racquet and a small dolly!

There were wines and bottles of champagne,

Everything Mrs Christmas needed to entertain !

Waitrose had everything Santa needed at all,

For whenever his friends and family came to call !

There were jingle bells and fairy lights,

Everything to make Christmas shiny and bright !

Baubles and tinsel and a star....

For the top of the Christmas tree....even chutney in a jar...

Hundreds of different types of cheeses...

And a box of tissues for everytime he sneezes...

Santa loved his Waitrose stop off,

Every Christmas before the present drop off...

Everything for the Christmas "do",

In fact, everything for New Year, too !
