Santa's Superleague Christmas

When it came to R L F C, Santa was boxing clever...

Santa was the greatest rugby fan ever...

He went to the match, every Sunday...

And was often to be found cheering away...

When Leeds Rhinos came to Christmastown,

He head to the stadium and got on down !

If Widnes Vikings came to stay,

"Was Santa prop forward ?!", I hear you say....

Castleford Tigers always roared quite loud,

Salford Red Devils always drew a large

crowd !

Catalan Dragons came a long way,

Wigan Warriors' Captain asked Santa to play....

At Halliwell Jones, down Mike Gregory Way,

Santa parked his very full sleigh...

With Season's greetings, he kicked of the season,

He brought everyone presents (that was the real reason !)

Eleven rugby shirts and a new rugby ball

Santa could hardly carry them all !

Some new rugby boots for each of the team,

And from Mrs Christmas, some polish to keep them clean...

There was even a whistle for the referee

Which Santa blew merrily.... !

By now Santa was a little bit peckish...

So off to the Martin Dawes Legends Lounge, his biggest Christmas wish !

He tucked into a tasty turkey dinner,

A Superleague Christmas was always a winner !
