Santa's Shopping Trip to Warrington's Golden Square

Santa's Christmas always began,

With a shopping list made for everyone...

So off he zoomed to Golden Square,

He turned left then right and headed up the stairs...then into the lift,

For Gerome, perhaps something for the home,

For the fairy a Jack and the Beanstalk poem...

For Mrs Christmas some bathing foam...

For the elf a brand new comb...

First en route, Santa headed for Boots...

Then to Debenhams to look ay the suits...

A new tie, he did spy, from the thousands he put on and try...

Then a pair of shoes in Deichmann,

Which to choose, he tried on two right ones !!!

A pair of socks, a Thornton's chocolate box,

Even a ring with diamond rocks !!!

Santa made sure no one was missed...

He made sure everyone got what they wished !

Into Waterstone's to look at the books...

A thriller, a kid's story and a recipe book for cooks....

By the Christmas tree, there were hymm singers...

Outside Primark a bunch of bell ringers !

Santa piled up the gifts and headed off to one of the lifts...

Santa was never a spendthrift !

He stopped for a coffee in the Barley Mow

Then back to the grotto in the snow...
