Santa's Oulton Park New Year Resolution

In the grotto, Santa's New Year resolution,

Somewhat caused a bit of a revolution....

Usually at Christmas, Santa was up to his eyes...in cheese crackers - and tasty mince pies !

So it came as no surprise,

When his stomach bulged and his weight started to rise...

Mrs Christmas was upset...

When a plate of salad, he went to get !

The Snowman's resolution was a little more easy ...

To always wear a bobble hat so he wasn't quite so sneezy !

The robin redbreast thought long and hard...

His resolution this year was to clean the backyard !

The Christmas fairy (who was generally good at wishes....)

Promised Mrs Christmas to always do the dishes !

Mrs Christmas herself...made a resolution not to be so grumpy with the elf....

The elf relied "Please yourself !....I'm going back to sit on the shelf !"

Gerome the gnome planned to decorate their home...his resolution was to always use a brush and comb !

Santa also had one more dream...

To see the racing bikes ar Oulton Park gleam...

So Mrs Christmas bought him a ticket...

For a Saturday race (less boring than cricket !!!)

Very soon, he was in the crowd.....

Waving a chequered flag....and shouting quite loud !

Before going home for New Year's dinner....

He'd seen his favourite bike become a winner !!!

What a New Year's extravaganza !!!
