Santa's New Satellite Dish

Santa in his garden needed a new fountain....

One he could see from the top of Kilamanjaro mountain...

He popped off to B n Q,

To look for look a satellite and a bulb or two...

When he saw the huge high price,

He thought twice - something else would be nice...

He looked around for something familiar...

Found a satellite dish that was rather similar...

He carted it home on the back of his sleigh...

Carried it into the house for Christmas day...

When the neighbours saw it - what would they say ?

Let's all go round to the grotto for the day...

When the elves tried to lift Santa up...

They slipped and fell on a buttercup !

On a ladder Santa climbed...

To fit the satellite dish which loudly chimed !

A foot he put through the window pane...

Ouch ! He cried out in excrutiating pain !

He reached out to the television aerial...

He had to rush - didn't want to miss his serial !

He fitted the satellite as well as he was able,

He wired the cable...as he leaned on the table...

A spark flew out in the dark...

That made the dog jump up and bark !

A radar zoomed from A to B...

Santa zapped away merrily...

Sky TV is the one for me....

A whole new package ...with broadband for free !

Soon it was sending signals through the tree...

With his remote, Santa switched to ITV !

On BBC3 was about an otter family,

But Santa preferred the story about the teddy bear's tea !

Mrs Christmas was delighted with the satellite dish Santa had bought her...

Even though soon the dish caught so much water....

It was used as an ice bucket for the champagne the snowman had brought her !
