Santa's New Samsung Phone

One Christmas, as he was on his way around the Milky Way,
Santa accidentally dropped his phone - probably around Biscay Bay...
He knew he should put it somewhere and lock it,
But the mobile fell right out of his pocket !
Perhaps it dropped into the sea,
As he sung carols merrily....
Or on Everest, when he'd taken a rest....
Zooming his way from East to West...
Because he couldn't find a diner,
He'd had a picnic on the wall of China.
Perhaps he'd left it on the tablecloth...
When he'd been chasing butterflies and that moth...
Or in London, where he had gone,
Delivering presents at Radio One...
He looked all around,
Down at the ground,
But the phone he never found...
Oh ! What to do ? He was in a bit of bother...
He had to let his brother know, to send another !
He called off at Samsung, from places far flung,
And rung...
He looked to see what models they had, to call,
The Galaxy 8 didn't look too bad at all...
He explained he dropped it from a height,
And that it now was out of sight...
The price was right, they could help his plight...
That the Galaxy 8 was so shiny and bright...
It must have looked like a meteorite...
He had to pay with his card...unfortunately he'd lost his wallet too...so that was hard...
Instead, Santa gave them all a lift...
On the back of his sleigh and a brand, new gift !
In a brand new box and tied up with a bow,
The Samsung phone was great, don't you know !
Because it was Santa's it soon became magic...it did a flick...a trick...quite magic indeed as Santa zoomed off to Berwick on Tweed...
It telephoned the children all by itself,
Telling them Santa may be a little late...
Then the elf...
Telling him to put the breakfast plate back on the shelf...
Once all the presents were delivered and done,
Santa used the telephone to contact home...and get gone...
I'll be there by nine...I should be on time...
Save me a nice glass of elderberry wine !
