Santa's New Mercedes for Christmas

Santa's sleigh was all clapped out...

There was lots of clanging about...

The engine was faulty and a screw fell out...

The lights flashed and a bulb went out...

So Santa bought a brand new car...

Which he hoped would take him near and far...

Especially if he wanted to go to the spar...

He decided the sleigh was for the chop...

And headed off to the Mercedes shop...

The exhaust came loose and began to drop...

Santa chose one in red - it glows !

Which Rudolph said matched his nose !

He paid the cash...and off did dash,

Zooming around the corner as quick as a flash !

Santa was so pleased,

The paintwork shone and the engine was greased...

Santa's Christmas joy was released,

And the smile on his face increased !

He piled up the presents in the boot...

A train set, a ball and his red and white suit...

A jigsaw, monopoly and a radio, too,

A trampoline, a tamborine and a magazine about the zoo...

Santa loved to deliver the toys this way...

Screeching to a halt all holiday !
