Santa's DIY Weekend

One Christmas Eve, the chaps at B n Q thought there was a stampede of elephants heading through the door....

When they looked they knew it was a thousand elves skidding across the floor....

In the snow, the roof had caved in on the grotto...Santa had sent them to get supplies....there were so many, B n Q couldn't believe its eyes !

A big hole had appeared in the chimneypot,

So the elves came to see what bricks B n Q had got....and bought the lot !

Some nails for the rails....in the snow their footprints left trails.....from Wales !!!

Gerome began to choose some screws, as the Christmas fairy magicked some shoes !

Some wood would be good, Mrs Christmas declared....

They carried as much as they could and put it on the chairs in pairs in the mud !

To make sure nothing got missed, at all,

Santa made a list and began the overhaul....

Then put them on the sleigh parked by the wall...

And Pinned them all till he reached the grotto hall...

He got the saw from the drawer....

The wooden bed from the garden shed...

There was fixing and mixing, painting and debating....so many colours they gave them a rating !

After a day or two....when the work was done....

They rested back and had some fun !

Hey ho ! What a way to go !
