Santa's 4 Leaf Clover & the Christmas Leprichaun

One year, back in 1962, i think....

Again Santa had too much to drink...

He thought Christmas was over...

So couldn't believe his eyes...

When he got a four-leaf clover...

And a very big Christmas surprise !!!

Wow ! He thought as he won a prize...

I must collect my winnings in disguise !

He knew a four-leaf clover was lucky...

But he hadn't expected to find one in Kentucky !

The sugar plum fairy sprinkled it with moondust magic...

Before long, the clover performed a magic trick !

Out of the woods jumped a leprichaun quick !

Gosh ! You guessed right...Santa won the Irish lottery that night !

No more early nights in...

No more crashing into the bin !

Santa now could live a life of ease....

Retire to the country and do as he please...

He could even holiday in Greece....

And buy as many presents as he'd like for his niece...

Santa put the clover into a picture frame....

It had brought him luck with the lottery game....

He even considered changing his name...

To Santa Clover....but he kept it the same !

He opened a bottle of champagne...

Went out walking in the rain...

What other good luck d'ya think the clover brought to the grotto ?

As well as winning on the Irish lotto...

A new porsche and a new house

A new mousetrap for the mouse

A whole new wardrobe for his spouse...

Ten diamond rings and a million things...

No wonder Mrs Christmas smiles when she sings !
