As soon as Santa reached his grotto home...
His boots were taken off by Gerome the gnome...
The gnome put the boots by the door,
As Mrs Christmas a sherry did pour...
As the elves a pack of cards dealt...
The snow on the boots began to melt....
It left a puddle on the floor...
Left over from Santa grand worldwide tour...
The Christmas fairy started to play....
In a musical band in her own magical way....
She used her magical wand to play a drum...
As the guitar, the snowman did strum...
Santa tapped his feet to the musical beat...
As a tasty mince pie he began to eat...
The Christmas fairy dropped the drumstick...
And as they danced Santa kicked the stick...
Being magic....when it hit the boot...
The musical doorbell began to toot...
Up jumped the boot all by itself...
And danced a jig along with the elf...
The magical boot disappeared...
As en route...the Rudolph appeared...
He put the boot on...and headed towards the Moon...on the sleigh playing a musical tune...
The next day when Santa went to the garden shed...
He had to go in his slippers instead !
As his toe poked through his sock, he said...
"Rudolph ! No wonder your nose is going red.....!!!"
Off to Clark's Santa head...to buy a pair of shoes instead ! He bought a pair of size seven...and was back home by half past eleven !
