One part = 225 / (1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 = 15) = 225 ballet - dancing : boots : high heels : sandals in a ratio of (1 x 15) : (3 x 15) : (4 x 15) : (5 x 15) = 45 : 45 : 60 : 75. 4. 25 + 175 = 200 cm = 2 m 5. 60 - (60 / 100 x 5 = 3) = 57 cm 6. 8 x 5 = 45 m 7. 5 (1000 / 2.5 = 400) 200 min 8. a) 1.5 + 0.3 + (4 x 24 = 96) = 97.8 hours b) 1.5 / 97.8 c) 0.3 / 97.8 = 0.00306 d) 96 / 97.8 = 0.981595 = 98.15 % 9. a) 30 / 3 = 10 b) 60 / 20 = 3 10. 125 x 0.45 = £56.25 11. 7 x 60 / 45 = 9.3 r = 9 12. 50 x 25 x 75 = 93, 750 cubic cm 13. 500 - (5 x 20 = 100) = 400 14. a) 15 x 75 = 1,125 cm b) 1125 / 2 = 562.5 cm c) 562.5 / 2 = 281.25 cm / 75 = 3.75 steps d) 5 x 75 = 375 cm = 0.375 m 15. 3.14 x (5 / 2 = 2.5) x 2.5 = 19.625
