Octavia the Opera Singing Octopus Gets Crabby

One day, Octavia the Opera Singing Octopus was making her way off the rock,

When she got a terrible shock !

Instead of the sand, she landed in something hard and crusty....

Octavia looked to see if it was nail - was it rusty ?

"Oh no !", she cried out,

Startled, she started to jump about !

It was a crab.......whose pincers were quite firm....

All Octavia's eight legs began to squirm

But the crab held on tight and didn't let go...

Even though the wind on the beach began to blow

By now, Octavia was sore and red,

She asked the crab - wouldn't you prefer chips instead ?!

"What a great idea !", the crab replied,

"Especially with a fried fish on the side"

With no time to waste, the crab spend off in haste,

Because he went sideways, he soon was crab paste !

He didn't follow the green cross code....

And was hit by a tram coming along the road....

The moral of the story is this - look before you cross, then the cars you will miss !
