Octavia the Opera Singing Octopus and the Shark Attack

Octavia the Opera Singing Octopus was swimming around the bay one day in the dark,

When she spied the fin of a shark....

"HELP !" she cried out hoping someone would hear her shout !

Only Sally the Seagull came to see what all the fuss was about....

The shark, who fancied some tasty octopus for tea....

Thought the evening was going swimmingly !

Seeing the Shark with his strong white teeth,

Octavia jumped in the water and swam beneath.....

Beneath the Moon, Octavia sang out of tune...

Her opera sounded like the clattering of a knife, fork and spoon !

She tried to escape, heading towards the Cape....

And asked the Shark would he settle for a grape ?!

Octavia didn't much fancy six legs, not eight....

She herself ate eggs for breakfast .... but they weren't that great !

Before long, Octavia and the Shark became friends....

Their dispute ended, they were soon on the mend !

The pair headed off to adventures new and bold...

And very soon found a treasure chest of gold !

A mermaid who was also passing by...

Played a game of treasure I spy.....
