Mrs Christmas's Magic Christmas Goose

One Christmas, the goose slipped its noose...

Before long, around the grotto it was completely loose...

Around the garden and over the shed it flew...

A very large crowd, the naughty goose drew...

The goose knocked over a flower or two...

Mrs Christmas didn't know what to do...

Through the kitchen door...it skidded across the floor...

Then around the grotto it went to explore...

It was chased into the study by a grumpy elf...Till it knocked all the books off the bookshelf...

Onto the couch, in the middle of the living room...

Chased by Gerome the gnome with a dusty, old broom !

As the goose hit the Christmas tree...

Some Moon dust sprinkled on the goose so feathery !

The fairy waved her magic wand....

Sprinkling wishes with the sleight of her hand...

The goose's eyes bulged open wide...

He grew so big there was nowhere for him to hide !

He tried to dodge behind the settee...

To lay his golden egg for Santa's tea...

But out it popped in the middle of the hall....rolled down the step....and on the frying pan did fall !

Mrs Christmas cooked it up...

Served it to Santa with sweet tea in a cup !

Along came the goose and gobbled it up...

With salt and pepper and a noisy, loud BURP !
