Mrs Christmas's Current Currant Problem

Mrs Christmas was making gingerbread men, one Christmas eve...

When accidentally the currants out she did leave...

She had flour, sugar and ginger spice...

But without currants for buttons, they didn't look nice !

She mixed the ingredients in a bowl...

But someone the currants had apparently stole....

Had it been Santa's mouse that had eaten them up...or hidden them over the house under a cup ?

She rolled the mixture out with a rolling pin....

Cut them into little men, put them onto a buttered tin...

Into the oven at 180 degrees...

This was much more appealling than crackers and cheese !

Slowly as the biscuits began to bake...

A delicious aroma the kitchen did make!

Instead of currants, what could she

use ?

She chose chocolate buttons, with two extra for shoes !

The gnomes and the elves all gathered inside ...

For tasty gingerbread men being supplied...

Handed around - they couldn't wait ....WOW ! They really tasted great ! But soon only crumbs were left on the plate !

Was it the french fries...or tasty mince pies ?

That had given the grotto a hefty weight rise ? No, for sure it was the gingerbread men....it was no surprise !
