Kevin the Kangeroo's Sore Toe

One Winter's day, Kevin was on a complete go slow,

He had slipped as he skipped, tripped and broke his toe !

Ouch ! He cried out in pain,

Trying very hard to get back up again !

His friend the elephant...seeing he was in distress...I guess,

Came to help him out of the mess...

He used his trunk to lift the fellow...

Who'd only popped into the zoo to say "hello" !

Along came a rhinocerous,

Who wondered what was all the fuss ?!

He brought a bandage for his foot...

A little bit of ointment he also put !

Don't worry, he reassured the roo...

I'll go get a pair of crutches, too !

The koala bear also showed some care...

And helped the kangeroo get out of there !

After a week or two, the very poorly kangeroo...

Leaped his way out of the zoo...

The kangeroo, after a pill...

Very soon was jumping over the hill !

Last i saw, he was leaping still,

(Even though he could have caught a chill !)...
