Kevin the Kangeroo's Sore Nose

Kevin the kangeroo had a sore nose -

He'd bumped into a tree, when he tripped on the giraffe's toes...

The giraffe, who was a helpful, caring chap...

Apologised for his clumsy mishap !

He skipped and slid, as kangeroos often do,

As he bounced right out of the zoo...

The elephant started to rant to everyone

"Look at what the giraffe has done !"

As from his nose, blood started to stream...

The zebra put on a bit of cream...

It really was no good at all....

A bruise appeared and a bump three inches tall !

The giraffe blushed (he was already quite spotty)...

When all the jungle animals went quite dotty !

He went to get Kevin a paracetamol...

but the parrot had already eaten them all !

So instead, the chimpanzee...

Gave him a lollipop for his tea -

And told him the leapfrogging had to stop firmly !

Kevin, however, still took a hop...

All the way to the corner shop !

Although from the knock, his block was still dizzy...

He drank all the stock of lemonade, so fizzy !

No wonder, in the sky, he jumped up even higher..

When his hiccups made him a real high flyer !
