Kevin the Kangeroo's Earache

Kevin the kangeroo had earache one day,

Nothing he did could get it to go away !

His earache was like an earthquake - that made even the kanger in his pouch shake !

"OUCH !", he started to complain....

Rolling around the garden in pain...

His floppy ears were inflammed and hot,

They burned and whistled quite a lo

Echoing as he jumped over the hill,

Kevin went to get a pill....

But even then, he still felt ill....

Somewhere, he must have caught a chill !

The pharmacist said, take it and count to ten,

Kevin did, then hopped off again !

Almost bumping into the other roos in the pen...

The kangeroo tried an ear drop or two,

But nothing got the ache to stop...or seemed to do !

The ringing in his ears continued all over the zoo like a didgeridoo

He decided to wear ear muffs

They were warm and made of fluffy stuff

Even they were not enough !

He noticed that they matched his fur...

But no ceasing of the earache started to occur...

Still the kangeroo jumped up and down...

Looking for bandages all over town

He bounced into the lauderette - his was the coolest shirt that had been washed there, yet ! A bit of a tiswas was caused, i bet !

Still the pain in his ears did rumble,

Kevin groaned and started to grumble...

Perhaps he should try apple crumble ?

Instead, into a tree trunk he did stumble

The tree was growing coconuts...

Which are good for earache, no ifs and buts...

Especially when one fell on him,

It acted like a spell on him !

Hitting Kevin upon the head....cured his ears...no longer red...

So he put the covers over his head and went to lie down comfortably in his

bed !
