Kevin the Kangeroo's New Surfboard

Kevin the kangeroo had found a new way to get from A to B,

Travelling on a surfboard across the sea....

His boat (which had a hole in its bottom of the tank...)

No longer kept him afloat and he promptly sank...

He tried a kite....black and white,

But it turned left when it should have turned right !

Next he rode on a motorbike...

But the tyre burst when it hit a spike...

So he hopped down to the shop...

Stopped off on the beach and there did flop...

Whilst he was there, he spotted a surfer on the waves so blue...

He thought to himself - "That's what I want to do !"

He looked into his pouch - in his purse was a hundred pounds....

So soon he was surfing along on his rounds....

All around Botany Bay....

The kangeroo sailed away....

In the winds coming from a Northerly direction heading South,

The kangeroo surfed towards Cockermouth....

High above, from the top of the cliff,

A seagull flew, till his beak was stiff...

He caught a cold and started to sniff...

Kevin wondered if a surfboard would be better and what if ?

Perhaps he could alight in mid flight,

Kevin could sail on his surfboard all white ?

(He polished it till it shone quite bright....it even was brighter than the stars at night !)
