Kevin the Kangeroo's Milkshake

Kevin the kangeroo's favourite drink,

Wasn't hot chocolate...so what do you think ?

Perhaps a gin and tonic ? ....nope that meant he couldn't leap straight, (though supersonic !)

A mojito cocktail, complete with ice,

When out in the dessert, always was nice.....but the hiccups meant his leaps got crazy...

His floppy ears bent and his tail got wavy...

No, Kevin the kangeroo's best of all,

Was banana milkshake with a straw ten inches tall !

The milkshake had so many bubbles in it...

He skipped and leapt out of the zoo with it !

His pouch gurgled, his belly button popped...

He headed down the road and at the traffic lights stopped !

The traffic warden was just about, to give Kevin a ticket till he heard him shout...

"I've only stopped for another of milkshake on the roundabout !....

"Well, thats ok", the traffic warden said...

"But please try and stop in a parking spot instead"...

By the side of the road was a burger van...

With milkshakes of all flavours being sold by a man...

Kevin the kangeroo drank so many,

He had to go and "spend a penny" !

He slipped and tripped upon his tail...

Which bent in two making Kevin wail !

His crying kept everyone awake...

All because of the bubbly, tasty milkshake !
