Kevin the Kangeroo's Loose Tooth

One day, as Kevin was munching carrot pie for lunch,

His front tooth became loose as he took a big crunch....

Ouch ! The kangeroo cried out in pain...

But he was still hungry (so he got stuck in again !)

A little bit of the pastry crust

Is really quite a tasty must...

But when he nibbled and got stuck in...

A spot of blood appeared on his chin....

Crumbs fell down upon his belly...

Perhaps he should have eaten jelly ?!

A spot of carrot pie's the best...

But with a loose tooth, he couldn't finish the rest...

Perhaps what he needed was a check up and test ?

Off to the dentist, the kangeroo hopped,

To see if he could help and the pain ever stopped

As off the wobbly incisor the dentist chopped...

Into a bowl with a CLINK ! it dropped !

Kevin looked in the mirror - wow - he looked a sight !

Hopefully, the Tooth Fairy would be along that night...

Perhaps she might bring a pair of false teeth...

With a set of gnashers above and another beneath !

Maybe then he'd look like a horse...or even a rabbit, (who bounced bigger of course !)...

He hoped this toothache wouldn't get any worse !...

And the tooth fairy would leave a silver penny in Kevin's purse !

Around one, that night, the fairy appeared...

Dropping off her booty, the kangeroo cheered !

Perhaps he'd spend the money on a cricket ticket...

Then he could jump right over the wicket !
