Kevin the Kangeroo's Leap to Legoland

One day, Kevin the kangeroo, bounced out of the zoo...

Head off to Legoland in Windsor, to make a model or two !

Straight down the M6,

Very soon, he was choosing multi - coloured bricks...

First, he built a very sturdy house...

In it he put a very hungry mouse...

A church in which to say his prayers,

Even a shop to sell his wares...

(Then he added a flight of stairs,

Before long he'd made a dozen pairs !)

A whole city soon appeared,

From the village he made (which soon disappeared !)...

He added a road, along which he steered ...

Very soon, on to a roadside lay - by he veered)...

Next Kevin the kangeroo decided to make a lake...

He added a duck then took a break !

It was very hard to stay awake....

Well, he was a busy builder, for Heaven's sake !

Blue, green, yellow and red...

To the house he built, he added a shed !

Then he put a flower bed...

Alongside the driveway, which to the door led !

Kevin the kangeroo was in Legoland heaven,

The houses he made were straight and even....

With bricks he made six, then he jumped over seven !

Kevin built a block of flats...

He hoped they wouldn't attract the bats...

He added a little red brick at thd door for mats...

Then admired his handiwork - he was proud of what he'd done...

His Legoland city was big enough for everyone !

Along came a little gnat...that bit his ear and he tried to SPLAT !

It landed right upon his hat...

When he scratched...on it he sat !

Kevin jumped up into the air...

The cheeky gnat was in his hair !

He kicked it with his size nine foot...

But accidentally on his lego city it was put !

The lego scattered across the floor...

Three of the bricks zoomed through the door...

He tried to built it up by adding four...

But the lego city fell down som more...
