Kevin the Kangeroo's Boomerang

Kevin the kangeroo had a boomerang too

(As well as a musical didgeridoo)....

He practised all morning and all afternoon...

Hoping to get good at throwing it very soon...

Being a fit and athletic chap...

He threw it so hard, there was an accidental mishap....

At one hundred miles per hour...

A little bit of muscle gave the boomerang power...

It shot off over the hill...

Last i heard it was wobbling still !

The boomerang kept on going

Over the North Pole (though it was snowing !)

Then all the way past the equator...

Kevin chased it, but he only arrived much later !

The boomerang zoomed into outer space...

Followed by Kevin, running all over the place !

Then a little bit further on...

It reached the North Pole and there it was gone !

The boomerang seemed to disappear....

Never mind, thought Kevin, maybe he'd get another at Christmas this year...

Then suddenly, with a clatter and a CLANG !

Something hit Kevin on the head with a BANG !

IT WAS THE BOOMERANG, (NATURALLY...)which had just about made it back to the zoo, in time for tea !
