Kelly's Wobbly Christmas Jelly

Mrs Christmas had prepared a jelly for Christmas day,

Which sat on the kitchen table, wobbling away....

The Christmas pud that sat by the side of it, wobbled the same a little bit...

Dessert this year was sure to be a real hit !

When the cat jumped off the chair onto the floor...

You could see the jelly wobbling some more !

It wobbled when Mrs Christmas started singing...

Whenever the doorbell started ringing !

The jelly wobbled when the door slammed shut !

It wobbled when on the table, the cups and saucers were put !

Soon every bauble on the Christmas tree,

Just like the jelly , wobbled merrily !

The stockings lined up on the fireside,

Wobbled so much, the gifts fell outside !

To open her presents, Kelly came downstairs,

Now even her slippers started wobbling in pairs !

Kelly chuckled and laughed with glee,

Seeing the jelly wobble so jelly-ily !!!

Before long, the entire house was wobbling too...including the mousehole (and even.the mouse, too !)

The roof shook and off the snow fell,

The rooftiles and the TV aerial !

No wonder Santa had such a wobbly belly....

When he'd eaten so much wobbly jelly at Kelly 's !!!
