Harry the Hippo's New Sunglasses

Harry the hippo had new sunglasses.....

He loved to wear them for his art drawing classes....

He wore on the end of his hippopotamus nose

They almost fell off as he sniffed a rose...

Around the waterhole, he met a mole,

He almost trod n him when in the mud he started to roll !

Suddenly Harry the hippo started to sneeze,

His new sunglasses flew through the trees !

Before long, the monkey was wearing them on his knees !

The crocodile gave a toothy smile -

He hadn't seen such nice sunglasses for quite a while !

As the giraffe with his very long neck, looked down at the view....

The monkey sneezed too and off they flew...

Onto the lion's furry nose...

Though it wouldn't particularly be those he chose.....the lion paraded in a show off pose...

Until a mosquito landed on his tail....

He swished and off the sunglasses began to sail !

The African elephant flapped his ears...

He hadn't had a pair fit him in years !

He kicked them onto a waterhole rock,

Where the flamingoes usually came to flock...

From in the water, fresh and cool....

They wore the sunglasses paddling in the pool....

Again the animal's sneezing carried on...

Till the parrot went to bed at half past one...

From Harry the hippopotamus to Ryan the rhinoceros the sunglasses sped....

Eventually landing on the leopards head...

Who looked in them , very cool, though it was freezing

All thanks to a bout of sudden sneezing !
