Giddy as a Kipper, Kevin the Kangeroo Skipper and the Slipper

One birthday, for his special gift,

Kevin the kangeroo got a present that gave him a real lift !

A skipping rope to help him cope...

Which gave his leaping a whole new scope !

The zebra and the chimpanzee came along and helped all three...

They turned the string while Kevin did his thing...he even managed a little to sing !

Up and down...in and out...

The skipping rope kept turned about...

Kevin soon got in the habit...

Bouncing off like Peter rabbit

He bounced along so he wouldn't squash a flower...

He leapt along for over an hour...

Almost as high as Blackpool tower !

Then stomped right into a puddle made by a rain shower.....

On and on...higher and higher,

Kevin the kangeroo was a real high flyer!

It seemed he'd never run out of steam...

Well a new skipping rope was every kangeroo's dream !

He soon was giddy as a kipper,

Slipped as he skipped, tripped and lost a slipper !

His jumping jelly beans wobbled in his belly...

As off he sped, he lost a welly !

O no ! What was he to do ?

A kangrroo with only one shoe...?

And they didnt match that well...

Nor was there a very sweet smell...

But the lion lent him her's as well !

Parading up and down in the jungle heat...

Kevin hoped no- one spotted his feet !
