Danny the Funny Bunny's Easter Egg Hunt

"What is all the fuss about ?!", Danny the funny bunny cried,

Farmer Giles around the barn, had put a hundred eggs to hide !

As Danny spied, the place was buzzing inside,

'Cos a chocolate Easter egg was better than one that had been fried !

The animals quickly set to,

Searching in the haystack for a clue ....

The hens clucked,

The chicks looked....

Someone found a feather that had been plucked !

A little bit of ribbon and an eggshell broken -

But no eggs were to be seen, as they'd been hoping....

Up the ladder and into the hayloft...

Still no eggs (not a single one - big or small !)....

Farmer Giles' Easter egg hunt wasn't that fun, at all !

Suddenly, Danny, to the floor crashed...

Into a hole, where a dozen eggs smashed !

For the Easter parade, Danny needed a hat...

Something quite colourful (with flowers on, at that !)...

He hopped off and stopped off...

He shopped till he dropped...

But he didn't find one he liked that much...that fit his ears as such !

He tried on a stetson and a baseball cap...

His woolly bobble hat got him in a bit of a flap !

Big or small - none suited at all !

On top of his ears, he looked ten feet tall !

Until, that is, the farmyard scarecrow came passing by,

And gave the bunny one of his to try !

In the Sun, the hat looked great...

He posed by the farmyard gate...

The rest of the farm, thought it incredibly funny....

A fashion conscious, well dressed bunny !
