Daisy May was a lazy, old cow...
People say work - she didn't know how...
She spent all day out in the field,
Chewing grass is all that appealed
In the Midday Sun, she always had fun...
Munching away and chatting to everyone
It must have been all the juicy grass,
That made Daisy's milk so utterly first class
She waited till Farmer Giles got out of bed
Then walked down the lane to the farmyard cowshed
Here, the milk she made was always a winner....
Everyone loved it with tea for dinner
Daisy also made the tastiest cream,
Her vanilla ice - cream was Farmer Giles dream...
Every day about half past four,
Farmer Giles called Daisy to the cowshed door
Her milk was warm - but a sheer delight
It squirted on Farmer Giles foot from a height !
But the best was the milkshake that Daisy made,
Which was sweeter and fizzier than lemonade !
