Chuckle Buckle had a bucket. It disappeared one day, but he didn't know who'd took it. He collected pebbles in it, but some fell out when he shook it. Chuckle Buckle chuckled so much that the handle fell off it out of his clutch ! When Chuckle Buckle chuckled some more, some sand from the sandcastle he was building fell onto the floor. Chuckle Buckle chuckled again and suddenly his bucket started collecting some rain. Chuckle Buckle chucked in a stone, then with all his chuckling, it fell out, gone to Felixstone. It was the most chuckling pebble that had ever been known. Of course, with all Chuckle's chuckling, everything was dropped ! Chuckle Buckle chuckled a lot - just to see what would fall from the pot. From his bucket out a frog popped. Within minutes, in a puddle it had plopped. Chuckle's chuckling caused such a SPLASH ! Everyone was soaked as quick as a flash. The bucket flew right into the air and soon there was water everywhere ! Ever since then, Chuckle was known as a drip, all because of the water splash that happened when he tripped ! But he was still so busy chuckling, he hardly noticed that he'd slipped ! 1. If Chuckle's bucket could contain 600 mls of water and 20% fell out when he tripped, how much was left ? 2. If Chuckle Buckle walked through one puddle every 5 m, how many puddles did he tread in during a 3 km walk along the beach ? 3. When Chuckle Buckle chuckled 0.8 of the 900 seashells he had collected fell out onto the sand. How many were left ? 4. Chuckle Buckle's bucket soon got a big hole. Hardly surprising that out fell a piece of coal ! If the hole was 10 cm wide, how much spare room was there around the piece of coal which measured 7.5 cm ? 5. If one piece of coal weighed 25 grams, how many pieces of coal were being carried in Chuckle Buckle's bucket if it weighed 5 kg ? Chuck It In Chucklin' One word is missing from the following sentences. Where should Chuckle Buckle chuck the "it" back into these sentences ? • Chuckle Buckle had a bucket disappeared one day. • He didn't know who'd took. • He collected pebbles in . • Some fell out when he shook . • The handle fell off ! • Some sand from the sandcastle he was building also fell out of . • Chuckle Buckle started collecting some rain in . • Chuckle Buckle chucked a stone into . • Chuckle Buckle wanted to see what would fall from out of . • was a frog that popped out of . • fell in a puddle. • was the chuckling that caused the SPLASH ! • flew right into the air. • Chuckle Buckle carried coal in also.

Trickle Triganometry

Work out the angles on a compass if the clown heads - North, NE, East, SE, South, SW, West, NW

When Chuckle Buckle span around, even more water splashed onto the ground ! Four letters are missing from the words - L - I - N - G. Where should the flinging ling be flung ?

Answers : 1. 600 - (600 / 100 x 20 = 120) = 480 2. 3 x 1000 / 5 = 600 3. 900 - (900 / 10 x 8 = 720) = 180 4. 10 - 7.5 = 2.5 cm 5. 5 x 1000 / 25 = 200
