Boo the ghostly poltergeist was an awful host, He scared all his guests away ... And burnt the toast. All he wanted to do was to say "hello !", But they ran away down the stairs below. The minute they saw Boo running round, They headed off in the other direction, Hiding, trying not to make a sound. Boo the ghostly poltergeist was really so scary, They felt as though they'd been shocked unfairly. Everywhere Boo the ghostly poltergeist loudly boo -ed , Which his friends thought was really incredibly rude. "Boo !" his friend called once again, As three of his friends headed off into the rain. Of course, everyone thought it was because he was a ghostly poltergeist, That everything around him went crashing, That things went bump in the night ... And usually ended up smashing ! But the real truth of the matter was, Boo the ghostly poltergeist had a boomerang that he couldn't fire straight ... And that's what shattered all the broken plates when he stayed up late after eight ! When Boo threw his boomerang, It made the telephone ring all by itself, Dishes crashed to the floor, And books fell off the bookshelf. Although he tried with all the ghostly power he'd got. He really was a hopeless shot ...
