For......'s ......birthday treat,
There were lots of things to eat...
A birthday cake, as big as a shed,
Some sweet peas from the flowerbed....
A box of chocolates, gewy and sweet....
A bicycle I can ride down the street
Some slippers - furry and new,
Even a game to play and do....
Some tickets for a cricket match
A ball to play football and to catch
Some flowers to put in a vase
A telescope for gazing at the stars
A teddy bear whose name is Fred
A pair of pyjamas for going to bed
A bag of marbles....a calculator to help my timestables...
Even a dolly that I keep in a cradle
Some pencils and a colouring book
A magnifying glass for taking a closer look
A yellow truck, a rubber duck
Even a guitar that you can pluck
Birthdays when you're.....are so much fun
There are presents from everyone !
