Billy Goat

Billy the Billy Goat had a thick woolly coat,

That kept him warm when he was out and about ...

But Billy the Billy Goat still caught a chill,

Running about up and down the hill.

His head was so full of mathematical stuff,

That he kept on subtracting,

Although he was sneezing and his voice was gruff.

Whilst chewing the grass, he practised his division,

Counting sheep was a great way of revision !

He multiplied so often, that he forgot how many times,

No wonder he was at sixes and sevens, adding up all those nines !
