A Game of Snakes and Ladders at Jake's

At Jake's house, Santa stopped off one night...

And whilst everyone else had their eyes shut tight...

Santa and Jake played games in delight!

First they tried their hand at chess.....

But Santa didn't understand the rules and was absolutely U...S

So from his stocking socks...

Jake pulled out a box...

A game of snakes and ladders....

Santa was the yellow counter...Jake's was the red,

From square one...to one hundred...

Step by step, Jake did tread...

They rolled the dice...almost hitting the mice...Jake got a six which he thought was nice !

Jake and Santa played on some more...

Up ladders and down snakes, the pair skidded back down to four....

Up the line....to ninety-nine....

Jake and Santa had a really good time !

From number twelve, to thirty-three...

Jake and Santa jumped merrily !

Onto fifty-five, the snakes almost came alive...back down to one Jake slid and was done....

That was really one to remember...

When Santa played snakes and ladders on the 25th of December....
